Every year hundreds of thousands of Chinese leave China to study or work overseas.  They usually embrace the challenge of adapting to a new way of life in a new country, learning the language and the culture and settling in.  Along the way they are exposed to many new ideas and ways of thinking as they gradually learn how get along in their new home.

While overseas many will meet Jesus for the first time, and some will respond to the message of the gospel and become Christians.  Most of them will find it easy to flourish in their faith in their overseas contexts.

However, returning to China as a follower of Christ can be very difficult.  The returnee has changed during their time overseas and China has also changed.  Those who have become Christians overseas find it particularly difficult to work out how they can live out their faith in the Chinese context.

This book is a collection of actual testimonies of Christians who have returned to China.  Names, places and details have been changed to protect their privacy.  The stories are available here in their original form (Chinese) and English translations are provided.

This is a trial version with 6 stories. We hope to publish a longer version later.
